Dairyland Power Cooperative is a generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative that supplies wholesale electricity to 24 member distribution cooperatives and 17 municipal utilities across the Upper Midwest. Founded in 1941 and headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin, it serves more than half a million people across 62 counties in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois. The cooperative's infrastructure includes nearly 3,200 miles of transmission lines and 300 substations across a 44,500-square-mile service territory.
