Element U.S. Space & Defense, formerly NTS Technical Systems, provides end-to-end, highly custom testing services for mission-critical U.S. government space and defense programs. The company works with government agencies across the space, defense and aerospace sectors, and is a trusted partner to NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense. It draws on more than 60 years of experience in test design and implementation for complex programs.
Its testing suite spans dynamics and vibration testing, ordnance testing, hydraulics testing, EMC/EMI testing, pneumatics testing, environmental simulation, non-destructive testing, mechanical testing, ballistics testing and centrifuge testing. Work is carried out at six strategically placed testing facilities across the United States. The organisation emphasises subject matter expertise and the advancement of state-of-the-art testing technologies.
Element U.S. Space & Defense was acquired by Element Materials Technology in September 2022. Twenty NTS labs transitioned into the Element brand, while six NTS facilities retained autonomy.
