Langan is an integrated engineering and environmental consulting firm founded in 1970. It works on land development and infrastructure projects across the United States and internationally, and is headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. The firm employs a multidisciplinary workforce of engineers, environmental consultants, geologists, surveyors, planners and digital specialists.
Its technical scope covers site and civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, energy, transportation engineering, surveying, geospatial and GIS work, landscape architecture and permitting. Langan also develops digital products for infrastructure and facility portfolios, including data-management, GIS, analytics and asset-management solutions, and provides data management and analytics and asset management as services.

A leadership transition is scheduled: David T. Gockel, President and CEO, will become Executive Chair when Ryan C. Linthicum assumes the role of CEO on January 1, 2027.
