Little River Casino Resort is a tribal-owned gaming, hotel and entertainment destination at the corner of US31 and M22 in Manistee, Michigan. Established in 1999, it is owned and operated by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians and is a significant regional employer and economic contributor in northwest Michigan. The resort has grown substantially since opening: it began with 600 slot machines and now runs over 1,100 slot and video poker machines alongside dozens of regularly updated table games, with entry to the gaming floor restricted to guests aged 18 and over.
The property combines a 292-room lodge-style hotel, designed in keeping with the natural surroundings of Northern Michigan, with a 95-space RV park, indoor and outdoor pools, several on-site restaurants and The Spa at Little River. Its 1,600-seat event venue hosts nationally headlining musical and comedy acts on a regular basis. Together these operations span gaming, hospitality and lodging, tourism and entertainment, food and beverage, and spa and wellness.
Work at the resort therefore covers a broad mix of operating environments, from the gaming floor and hotel front-of-house to food and beverage, facilities, events and guest services, all running across a large, multi-outlet site in a tourism-driven region of Northern Michigan.
