Milken Community School is a Jewish community school serving grades 6–12 on an 11-acre campus in Los Angeles, California. It enrols more than 700 students and pairs a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum with Jewish values, with the stated aim of educating the whole student and developing independent thinkers who use knowledge and values to help others.
The school is organised into connected Middle School and Upper School environments within a single 6–12 continuum. Its college-preparatory academics span literature, computer science, mathematics, architectural design, the arts and social sciences, alongside nationally competitive academic programmes. Complementing these are an athletics programme offering numerous sports at competitive levels - designed to foster teamwork, discipline, character and inclusion - as well as service learning, Jewish studies and arts programming.
Milken describes itself as a close-knit institutional community in which students, parents, faculty, staff and alumni learn and grow together. Its culture emphasises the integration of intellectual inquiry, spiritual practice, ethical action and personal growth, support for lasting relationships between peers and educators, and the exploration of ambitious ideas.
