At Nucor, everything starts with our people and the culture that binds them together. As North America's largest and most diversified manufacturer of steel and steel products, and one of the world's largest recyclers, we've built our success on a foundation of trust, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to safety. Every Nucor teammate lives and works by the same core principles - integrity, open communication, inclusion, and a relentless can-do attitude that turns obstacles into opportunities. We call each other 'teammates' because that's exactly what we are: equals working toward a common cause, partnering across roles and divisions to win together.
What truly sets Nucor apart is how we put our values into action every day. Our pay-for-performance system means every teammate's compensation is tied to productivity, which is why we're one of the most productive steel companies in the world with industry-leading compensation. We believe in treating each other fairly, providing avenues for appeal, and offering the job security that inspires confidence in the work our teammates do. With over 300 locations and 33,000 skilled teammates, we maintain a culture where people thrive - where innovation is embraced, courage is celebrated, and ownership of our collective success rests with every individual. From our pioneering use of Electric Arc Furnace technology to our commitment to becoming the world's safest steel company, everything we do reflects our belief that when teammates are empowered and respected, extraordinary things happen.
