Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort is a gaming, hospitality and entertainment complex in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Its operations run around the clock: the casino, which is smoke-free, is open 24/7 and deals live craps and blackjack alongside slot machines. Live Thoroughbred racing takes place at the track from December through May, and the property also hosts nationally recognised music and comedy acts.
The resort encompasses Trackside Suites, fine dining restaurants, the award-winning Astral Spa and a pool with private cabanas. In 2021 the company invested $100m in an expansion of the property. Oaklawn describes itself as Arkansas' #1 tourist destination.
Founded in 1904, the track opened with a grandstand of 1,500 seats. It has been owned and operated by the Cella family since 1914 and is led by President Louis Cella. The stated operating focus is a luxury guest experience and a legacy of hospitality, spanning more than a century of continuous operation.
Industry areas include regulated casino gaming, Thoroughbred horse racing, hospitality and resorts, live entertainment, food and beverage, and spa and wellness.
