Full Time Security Officer
Location: Billerica, MA
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm
Pay Rate: $21.14/hour
Securitas USA is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused First Shift Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals.
Conduct routine patrols of assigned premises.
Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
Enforce property rules and regulations in a professional manner.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
Write detailed, accurate, and timely incident reports.
Provide excellent customer service and assistance to clients and visitors.
Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and safety hazards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency for reporting and access control systems.
Must pass background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy.
Valid driver’s license (if required by site).
