TriHealth is an integrated health system based in Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 1995 through the merger of Bethesda Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. Today the organization operates more than 130 sites of care across the Greater Cincinnati region and employs approximately 13,000 people, making it one of the area's largest health systems.
The system provides a broad range of clinical services across multiple hospitals and care locations, including Bethesda North Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. Service lines span cancer and blood care, heart and vascular care, orthopedics, neuroscience, primary care, pediatrics, women's services, emergency care, and behavioral health. TriHealth also operates the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion and runs population health and preventive care programs throughout the region.
Beyond direct patient care, TriHealth supports medical education through residency and fellowship programs and operates Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science. Clinical and academic research is advanced through the TriHealth Hatton Research Institute. This combination of care delivery, education, and research creates a range of roles across clinical, operational, and support functions.
For candidates transitioning from military or public-safety careers, TriHealth's scale, operational complexity, and mission-driven culture offer clear parallels to service environments. The organization's structure spans acute care, community outreach, logistics, administration, and health facility operations - areas where leadership, discipline, and team-based experience translate directly.
