University of Maryland Eastern Shore is a public historically Black research university founded in 1886 and designated as a land-grant institution in 1890. Located in Princess Anne, Maryland, the university has expanded from its original 16-acre campus to occupy 1,100 acres today. It offers 38 undergraduate degree programmes across multiple disciplines and 16 distinctive graduate programmes, serving a student body that represents nearly three dozen nations.
