Briner Building, Inc. is a design/build general contractor headquartered in Bluffton, Indiana. Founded in 1969, the company provides turnkey construction solutions for commercial and industrial clients, covering the full arc of a project from concept through construction to ongoing maintenance. It is one of the few full-service design-build general contractors in the Midwest, with projects ranging from 5,000 to over 500,000 square feet and annual revenue of about $45 million.
Much of the work is self-performed rather than subcontracted. In-house crews carry out steel erection, concrete construction and finish carpentry, alongside construction maintenance services. The firm also specialises in Butler Building Systems, including metal building assembly; its origins lie in erecting Butler grain bins. Sectors served include warehouse, office, manufacturing, industrial and commercial construction, as well as agricultural and grain storage facilities.
The company's reach extends across northeast Indiana, Ohio and the wider Midwest, with projects further afield. It has received numerous High Performance Builder and Million Dollar Builder awards from Butler Manufacturing Company. In December 2023 it became the first metal building assembler based in Indiana to obtain AC478 accreditation, administered by the International Accreditation Service.
