Harvest Food Group is a frozen food manufacturer and innovation partner founded in 1999. From its headquarters in Naperville, Illinois, the company produces individually quick-frozen (IQF) ingredients, private label products, and co-manufactured goods for retailers, brands, and foodservice operators across North America. Its portfolio runs to hundreds of frozen ingredient SKUs - vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, seeds, and herbs sourced from around the world - alongside foodservice solutions for the retail, foodservice, and club channels.
Operations are concentrated at a 184,000 sq. ft. USDA-inspected manufacturing facility in Chicago, with a further 200,000+ sq. ft. production facility under expansion. The business holds SQF Level 3 certification, and quality assurance and food safety form a central part of its operating model. Technical capabilities span IQF food processing, culinary-driven research and development, flexible packaging, co-manufacturing, and private label production.
In addition to its manufacturing work for other companies, Harvest Food Group owns Path of Life, a consumer brand of wholesome frozen meals and sides sold at Costco, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Safeway, and Publix. The company was acquired by Industrial Opportunity Partners in May 2023.
