LAFC is a professional soccer club representing the greater Los Angeles region in Major League Soccer (MLS). Founded in 2014, the club made its MLS competition debut in 2018 and has since won the MLS Cup in 2022, the U.S. Open Cup in 2024 and the Supporters' Shield in 2019 and 2022. Its home matches are played at BMO Stadium in downtown Los Angeles, a venue with a 22,000-seat capacity.
The club's operations extend beyond match day. The LAFC Training Center, a state-of-the-art facility on the campus of Cal-State Los Angeles, supports first-team preparation, while player development runs through the LAFC Academy and LAFC2, the club's MLS NEXT Pro affiliate. The organisation competes on the pitch and engages in community impact and player development across the region.
LAFC Foundation is the club's community impact arm, working with underserved communities in the Los Angeles area through youth programmes and the installation of futsal courts. To date it reports over 40 futsal courts installed and more than 30,000 young people positively impacted.
LAFC's ownership group comprises local leaders and innovators from the entertainment, sports, technology and media industries. The club operates across professional sports, entertainment, media and community and youth development.
