The Los Angeles Country Club is a member-owned private country club founded in 1897, occupying a property of more than 300 acres at 10101 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, bordering Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Century City. The Club operates across several distinct service areas, among them security operations, facility engineering, golf course maintenance and grounds operations, culinary services, and golf operations management - functions that together support a large, continuously staffed site with the demands of both a working recreation facility and a hospitality venue.
Security and facilities roles sit alongside a broader operational structure. The Club maintains guest overnight accommodations, dining services, tennis facilities, and a range of member events and social spaces, so staff work spans physical plant upkeep, access control and property oversight, service delivery, and event support. The North Course, its championship golf course, hosted the 123rd U.S. Open Championship in June 2023, the first U.S. Open held at the Club - an event that placed additional demands on grounds, security, and operational staffing.
As a historic institution, the Club describes a workplace culture emphasising member and staff satisfaction, high service standards, and employee development with opportunities for professional growth. The Club states a longstanding commitment to the community, and its operations reflect the standards of a private membership organisation rather than a public venue.
