Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is a cancer treatment and research institution headquartered in Manhattan, New York City. Founded in 1884 and operating for more than 140 years, MSK delivers comprehensive cancer care across multiple locations in the New York metropolitan area and beyond, and is consistently ranked among the top cancer hospitals nationally.
The organisation integrates three functions: clinical care, research, and education. Its research arm, the Sloan Kettering Institute, runs 9 research programs and more than 100 laboratories, spanning basic cancer research, translational research, cancer biology, genetics and cell biology, immunotherapy and immune-based treatments, and metastasis research. Separately, MSK's educational and training programs prepare clinicians and scientists in highly specialised fields.
Work is organised around a stated mission of "ending cancer for life", supported by an emphasis on patient-centred care and the translation of laboratory findings into practice. A commercialization ecosystem covering partnering, new ventures, and business accelerators supports the movement of innovations from the lab to patients, operating within industry verticals that include healthcare, oncology and cancer care, biomedical research, medical education, and biotechnology commercialization and venture.
Openings may span clinical oncology care, laboratory and research roles, education and training functions, and commercialization and business development work.
