Okaloosa Gas District is an Independent Special District of the State of Florida, established in 1953. For over 70 years, the utility has provided natural gas services across Northwest Florida, covering more than 2,300 square miles in Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties. It serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers, with a customer base exceeding 56,000.
The district employs 221 people and delivers a full range of utility services. These include natural gas supply as well as appliance sales, gas piping, installation, service, repair, and maintenance. Staff work directly with customers to develop customized energy solutions.
