PTC Alliance, also known as PTC Steel, manufactures and markets Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) and Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM) mechanical steel tubing, steel pipe and bar products. Its output includes welded and cold drawn mechanical tubing, tubular shapes, plated bar and tubing, and fabricated precision components supplied to the agriculture, automotive, construction, recreation, appliance and energy industries, among them major agricultural equipment manufacturers and automotive industry leaders.
The company operates 13 manufacturing facilities across six U.S. states and employs more than 1,150 people, with an original founding location in Monaca, Pennsylvania and sales into international markets. Work is spread across tube making, cold drawing, precision fabrication, quality assurance and supply chain operations. Recent multi-million dollar investments have been directed at digitising and automating supply chain processes.
