What You’ll Do

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily plant-level safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives across production, warehousing, and logistics operations.
  • Conduct safety training, audits, inspections, and job safety analyses to drive awareness and compliance.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, coordinate corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and track safety metrics, maintain safety records, and manage chemical inventories and safety data sheets.
  • Partner with plant leadership to support emergency planning, drills, and safety reviews for new equipment and facilities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Three or more years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Safety related field.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using technical safety equipment and experience in PSM, LOTO, or ammonia systems preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish a significant plus

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to meet all physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work performed across plant, warehouse, and logistics environments with varying conditions.
  • Regular interaction with production areas, equipment, and potential environmental exposures depending on location.
