Chief Seattle Club is a Native-led housing and human services agency founded in 1970 in Seattle, Washington. It serves urban American Indians and Alaska Natives, employing a staff of over 80 people, of whom nearly 77% identify as Native American or Alaska Native. The organisation’s work is grounded in Native values and cultural understanding.
The agency operates a day center in Pioneer Square that provides hot meals, showers, personal hygiene facilities, mail services, internet access, and cultural programming. It also manages several supportive housing buildings, including Sacred Medicine House, Salmonberry Lofts, ʔálʔal, and Goldfinch Apartments, which provide permanent residences with supportive services.
