About

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) is a nonprofit arts organization founded in 1980, based in Nashville, Tennessee. It manages performance venues and presents a range of programming, including a Broadway series, curated dance and theatre productions, and special engagements. The organization serves several hundred thousand audience members annually.

TPAC provides a permanent home for three resident artistic companies: Nashville Ballet, Nashville Opera, and Nashville Repertory Theatre. It also operates one of the largest arts education programs in the United States, serving students from pre-school through high school, educators, and adults. Over the past four decades, these education programs have reached more than 2 million people.
